Review for Oak Terrace Apartments

The location is very good. Reasonable proximity to New York City. Excellent shopping in the vicinity. Same bus that goes to New York goes through the shopping area and to the Paramus Mall (the giant mall nearby). Newark Airport 25 mins, Laguardia 25 mins (in good traffic) JFK also very drivable. Close to 5 major highways but not noisy (Rte 4, 17, I 95, I 80 and Garden State Parkway).
Apartment quality is nothing to write home about. Very limited maintenance, but helpful Super. Some apartments have a SERIOUS roach problem. NOTHING can fix that. The mgmt blames it on the 'strong spices' of the 'previous residents' (which will be me after I have moved out since the same logic was given to me what I moved in last year).
Parking can be a real pain on some days as the residents often carelessly double park and the management does not believe in marked parking.
No safety issues in the last few months, even very late in the night (safe if you are a woman walking back alone from the nearby bus stop).
Look around for better maintained home with the same advantages as this one. My guess is the price difference would be $100-200 for better facilities.
