Review for Lake Heights Apartments

Initially I moved here because of the ample room sizes, affordable rent and clean, quiet neighborhood. Since then, the apartments have changed ownership and things have steadily declined since. The new landlords sample lease agreement plainly states: "The premises shall not be occupied by more than 3 persons, and not to use said premises, or any part thereof, for any purpose other than Living Quarters." Yet I count 4 individuals (4 young kids, 2 guys and 2 girls....2 couples) living in the unit directly above mine. These young kids throw nightly parties in their "party pad" and usually invite at least 10 of their bestest buddies. Due to the high traffic, the hallways are now littered with refuse and often I cannot find a parking space. They stomp, scream and wrestle with a small animal which sounds like a miniature racehorse with the way it races from one corner of the apartment to the other. Numerous complaints to the owners and management have gone ignored. I can only assume I have either been labeled a "troublemaker" or they want me out so as to raise the rent for the "next" tenant. Several insincere attempts to intervene by police and management can only be interpreted as "idle threats" when they go unfulfilled and serve only to embolden these children further. I now suspect, after numerous complaints (too many to count), that these children are now trying to provoke me. Quality of life here is simply nonexistant and ownership and management leave me little choice but to move.
