Review for Edgecliff Apartments

I was happy to move out of Edgecliff. The management is unresponsive, you can expect no response on issues despite numerous reminders for months. They also have no respect for the 24 hour notification law, and will enter your apartment whenever they decide to show up. Sometimes they notify you, but it is an "expect us at any time all next week" sort of notification. The hot water heater, which also heats the entire house, broke multiple times this winter, meaning a freezing cold morning and no ability to shower. It was also always really cold, and the thermostat seems to just be a pretend button. But good luck contacting the management to get the heat turned up. The walls are paper thin and the floors are creaky, so you can hear everything your neighbors are doing. Parking is overpriced, so numbered spots stay empty, which means the limited parking that guests should be able to use is always filled with tenants. The driveway, entrances, and sidewalks are often neglected after large snowfalls, making leaving impossible. I was unable to get my car out of the driveway for an entire day before they could be bothered to show up. Maintenance projects are often delayed after being started, like the building, which was (and still is) half painted in a garish aqua color. It is also a really far walk from everything in Ithaca.
Run away from Edgecliff.
