Review for Churton Place Apartments Llc Apartments

I was a tennant at Churton Place for 3 years. The first property manager was fairly nice and respectable. The second manager (Chris Smalley) was absolutely rude and horrible. Once there was a leak from my bathroom which ended up pouring out the kitchen light fixture of the neighbor underneath me. Despite our continued attempts to contact Mr. Smalley and maintenance, we never received an answer that day (this occured around 8am). Finally, the NEXT afternoon we received a response from maintenance. The end result was that they carved out a chuck of my kitchen wall the size of a dog-house and it remained that way for a month. It probably was like that beyond a month, but I finally had enough and decided to move out.

I was a clean tennant and did everything I was supposed to upon checking out. However, Mr. Smalley decided to be money-hungry and did not return my security deposit. Of course, I was extremely upset, but I know that bad things will happen to bad people, so he will have to reap the consequences of his unfair business practices.

Overall, I would not recommend this property to my worst enemy. It is truly not worth all of the nonsense you will have to endure, and there are other properties in Winston Salem that are much better, perhaps for slightly more money. It will be worth it in the long run. Heed my advice: STAY CLEAR AWAY!
