Review for Wexford On The Green Apartments

Overall living at Wexford has been a good experience. However recently they seem to have become poop obsessed. As a pet owner I know my pets bathroom habits but at times my puppy has caught me off guard and I have had to go get a bag from my apartment and then gone back down to pick it up only to find that maintenance staff had stalked me and already picked it up resulting in a fine. As a pet owner you need to be prepared to receive multiple letters a month reminding you to pick up the poop. Now I understand the desire to have a clean apartment community but the staff at Wexford had recently become annoying concerning this matter and we are now considering looking for a new place to live. They have also recently implemented a policy that if you report someone who isn't picking up after their pet you get to keep the $25 fine. May I mention this really helps with getting along with your neighbors' So unless you want to pick it up after your pet within 30 seconds of your pet doing its duty regardless of having a bag with you or not I wouldn't recommend living here.

I also have had issues with this as well... I'm sorry but whenever it rains, the wexford grounds turns into a marshland, and I am not going to go out in the rain and soak my clothes & shoes to pick up dog poop. I'm going to wait until it dries up in a day or two and do it then. I recommend the wexford staff lightens up on this issue, because it causes unneeded stress to the people who live there with pets. Honestly, how many times has anyone looking at the apartment even said "oh i saw dog poop on the ground so im not going to live here..." They need to change their policy to picking up the poop everyday instead of every time, because that is what everyone does anyways. Not to mention the poor 80 year old grandma who walks her dog with a walker and has to bend over every time and pick it up...
