Review for Saddlebrook & Pine Lake Apartments

I moved in here for only a 6 month lease after being transferred here. I'm glad I was only stuck for 6 months at this place. It was okay for the money, but parking is horrible, and my A/C has gone out about 5 times and they just continue "patching" the problem, which leaves me completely BURNING up all night for weeks on end. It was 96 degrees in the apartment the last time this happened.

The condition is okay. Carpets were stained up a bit and I had to have them come back out and do some minor repairs to electrical items and my stove and fridge, but they did those pretty quickly.

The outsides of the buildings could look MUCH better with minimal work. Power washing the vinyl siding and doors would just really spruce things up! They are FILTHY! Also, if they would just repaint the hand rails going up the stairs it would look really good.

There are TONS of wild cats just running around and they complex does NOTHING about it.

The pools are pretty nice.

The lake has some good fishing in it.

The kids in the neighborhood really run around like crazy kids, but mostly they are polite to me. There is a large mix of people in this complex, but we all seem to really get along well. I mingle with all my neighbors in my building and we have even cooked out together and played with our dogs together.

It's been okay ... but I'm glad to move out and get to a place where I won't have so many maintenance issues. I just don't have time for it and I want a place where I don't have to park 100 yrds from my apartment if you get home anytime past 8pm.
