Review for Gold Coast Properties Inc Apartments

Gold Coast Prop. rents several buildings in Lakewood Ohio. I lived in Lakewood Cliffs on Detroit. The lease they make you sign renews for a full year, and there is no "break lease" provision. They will try to trap you in for another year, even if you give 60 days notice, like they request. The apartments themselves have leaky windows, are dirty when you move in and have heaters that don't work well and MAKE A TON of NOISE! (It sounds like water running -- I almost thought it was leaking.) The fire alarms in the building must have a very sensitive trigger because they have gone off over a dozen times in the year that I lived there and they have frequestly shut off our water for repairs (I know accidnets happen, but it has probably happened a dozen or more times -- always in the morning, too.) DO not rent from these people -- there are better ways to get a deal on rent.
