Review for Lechateau Apartments

I lived here for a brief time- didn't complete lease actually. The rent rate was great, but the place was TINY! The unit was not well insulated so the heater constantly ran and we were still freezing. The bathroom is very small with horrific yellow tile floor. The living room was so small, it was rediculous. We had the brick "fire wall" in our apartment, which was growing mold. We complained that we were constantly sick and that the entire wall was covered in furry green, black, white and orange mold. The maintenance sprayed it down with BLEACH (without moving our black couch first, or covering the horrific brown carpet). The place had these crazy big roaches, like nicaraguan or something! They were about as big as our house key and they would chase us around. We even caught one and gave it to the office manager to prove we needed the exterminater! We lived on the corner by the dumpster and every morning, the man on his bicycle was digging through it, which was very awkward. The floor did seem more sturdy than the Parkwood Terrace apartments. The aparment complex doesn't have a lawn or any landscaping once you get past the actual turn in from 3rd st. It's a little depressing. While I moved in, the men downstairs from me wished me luck as they moved out! I knew I was doomed. Our shower broke and it took the maintenance guy 3 days to fix... EW!
