They will make up charges in order to steal your deposit. They will claim that they make the units perfect before you move in, then fail to fix things you find. I moved in with unpainted walls. I was told all year that they would paint the walls but never did. The heating and electric bills were high due to the use of a heat pump and limited insulation.

The area has a problem with flooding and overhanging trees. People leave their garbage by their front doors and the trash bins are used by the community. Campbell Management, who owns the property, will also charge you $12 for trash.

While they did have the carpets "cleaned" before I moved in, they were stained. When I moved out, they charged me over $200 to clean the carpets, $55 for a supposed hole in some wall they never identified, they also then charged me another $120 to clean and prep the house.

This was after I and my family spent 3 days cleaning the house prior to dropping off the keys.

I am very upset with how I was treated there. My friend who also lived there received the very same treatment. He even had ant problems in his kitchen. They initially told him that it was his problem.

I would not recommend renting any property from Campbell Management. They are sleazy crooks.

What was left of my deposit came back 12 days after the 30 days allowed by law and after I called to complain about it.
