Review for Station Square Apartments

We moved into a brand new apartment at the Station Square Apartments in Lansdale, PA five months ago. As we tried to use the hot water, we noticed a very strong mold odor - in both kitchen and bathrooms. We asked the landlord to fix the problem on countless occasions. We contacted the township (code enforcement office) and they said it's not their responsibility. We also contacted the health dept., EPA, and the governor's office. They all said it's not their jurisdiction and they can't do anything about it. The township said that once they issue the license it's up to the company to basically regulate itself. About a months ago, after we've wrote several letters to different agencies, finally two township commissioners came to the apartment and confirmed that they smell the odor in the hot water. They spoke with the property manager and we one week later we received a letter (not signed by anyone) that we could terminate the lease IF we agree to waive all claims against the Landlord for any damage, loss or injury. We also found out that the site they build on has been contaminated for 20+ years with TCE, which is a volatile organic compound that can cause cancer. The article mentioned that EPA has allowed the landlord to build as the site was still being cleaned and the apartment's maintenance staff supervised the excavation, etc. Many other tenants complain about the noise since the apartmens are made very cheap.
