Review for The Village Of Pennbrook Apartments

When I first moved into the Village of Pennbrook apartments it was much better managed then it is now. I have lived here for 3 years and in those 3 years, things have gone down hill and very fast. To begin, using the laundry facilities has become a total nightmare. The washers and/or dryers always seem to be broken down. I have called once a week for a month straight to have this fixed... to no avail. The locks on the laundry room doors have been tampered and are no broken. The laundry room floors are muddy messes.

The worst part is the vandalism. I have had my car broken into twice, my husband's car has been broken in to and actually written on. There is fresh graffiti on the buildings, signs, laundry rooms, etc. on a regular basis. When you contact the "management" to get security or really anything to help the crime, they ask you to draw up a petition and circulate it around the complex. Are you kidding me? So the management at the complex would prefer criminals to regular, law abiding tenants? Seems to me that's the case. Teenagers actually smoke pot in the "state of the art" gym and are seen mingling around the complex at all hours of the day.

The Village of Pennbrook needs to clean up its act. Luckily my husband and I saved our money to buy a home and we will be out of here within a few months. No doubt about it, don't move into the complex. The rent has gone up about $250 over 3 years and it's just not worth it anymore.
