Review for Burton Properties-Heritage Riverwood Apartments

I adore my one bedroom apartment here, but when they ask if you want to live on the first or second floor, don't even consider saying the first floor! I chose to live on the first floor for convenience, but gosh how I wish I could go back in time and choose the second floor. I hear the people above me walk, talk, sneeze, shower, flush the toilet, whatever. The floor/ceiling is so thin that when someone knocks on their door it sounds like it's mine. So, besides the horrible noise from upstairs at all times of the morning and night, I love this place. Parking is decently close, but not right outside your door. I was worried about space, but this one bedroom is plenty big for all of my furniture and comfort needs. A little disappointed in the move-in condition (paint dripped in random places, bugs on bathroom floor, horrible stains in tub) but they quickly (I mean within 10 minutes) came and cleaned up the mess as best they could. I do feel like I'm in the middle of nowhere since it's located down in a hole pretty much, but it takes me no longer to get to campus than from my last apartment complex. Would definitely recommend this place as long as you remember to request the second floor!
