Review for Village Square Apartments

My college has a contract with this apartment complex and going in we thought this was a good option. The model apartment looked nice and the front grounds seemed well kept. Don't be fooled. Upon closer inspection the metal railings for stairs are rusty and in bad need of replacement. One good push and they'd give. Usually when you enter the new apartment there's atleast something wrong with the plumbing. Either something is leaking or the tub is flooding from previous tenant hair build up. There's loud music playing from college students, it's not safe to walk around at night. I know of atleast one person who got mugged at gunpoint. Only way I got through was living right above a police woman. The maintence guy is rudely bangs on your door, takes care of the problem and luckily leaves quickly. Truth is it's not even worth what they charge for the place. It's a dump. People don't pick up after their dogs, broken glass always in the parking lot. Always looking over your shoulder in the parking lot. Not a good place to raise children. You can do better. There are better apartments that can give you more for less than you pay here.
