Review for Thickett Apartments

I have lived at Thickett Apartments for 4 months. I have general bugs and "palmettos" in my apartment daily. I had a 2 ft. snake in my bedroom, right next to my bed! We had to throw it out the patio door with a rake. Many tenants have talked about snakes in their apartment or on their patios. Some people do not pick up after their dogs, so walk defensively! I was told after stepping in it, if I could find who the dog mess belonged to then they would fine them. Otherwise, what did I want them to do about it? I was recently told when making a complaint, We are a part of this thing called the human race, and in the human race problems happen. So I asked, Do you mean that because I am a part of the human race, I should expect problems in my apartment every other week? He responded, In the human race, problems happen daily. I wish I had known these things before I moved in here. That is why I am rating this apartment in the first place. I will say one positive statement about Thickett only. The complex manager is a wonderful woman. She is prompt to address any issues, lives in the complex herself, and is very kind. Unfortunately, for me, this one saving grace they have is not enough.
