Review for Hainesway Apartments

The management isn't too courteous. They are always tring to come up with excuses. I moved her with my two kids, since then my daughter got head lice, we got bed bugs, the cops have been called to our unit regarding noise at 8:30 pm because we where watching TV (to loud?) We were denied a service animal (the dog was too intimitdaing) They have a pool, sauna, excersie room and hot tub. The hot tub never works. The pool is always cold and they change the code every month and never told us what the new code is, when calling they're after hours answering service they were absolutely no help what so ever, couldn't contact anyone to get that information, even though i told them that my kids were looking foward to going swimming on the 4th of july holiday weekend, no sympathy. Overall my lease is for a year they offer a buy out option and now I know why. When tring to view the apartment before moving in they offered to show me pictures but no units were available to view..I had to give a security deposit ($150.00) to hold the apartment that I never got to view unit the day before the move in, that i would forfeit the security deposit in 48 hours. Like I said you get what you pay for. The rent may be resonable but I will never again rent from them or recommend this entire management company to family or friends! I thought this should be posted for anyone who may be looking into renting an apartment in the rapid city area. Pay alittle bit more you may be happier in the long run. (ps bathroom and kitchens are TINY!)
