I have lived at a few different apartment complexes, and just about every apartment you live in will have some problems, obviously. For instance, they refuse to replace the walkway light that has been out for 2 months now. They said they are going to replace the fixtures soon, but it has been over a month since they've said that. That is a big security problem, in my opinion. I can't even see who is knocking on my door when I look out the peep hole because it's so dark out there. The maintenance guy is pretty nice/helpful. As far as neighbors go, this has got to annoy me the most. The walls are somewhat insulated, but you can smell whatever your neighbor is cooking. I smell nasty fish/meat smell every evening when one of our neighbors cooks their dinner. This is just ridiculous. I have no idea where the smell could come from, but it just makes my wife and I sick to our stomach.
