The Meadows Really Need To Change Their Image.

I've lived here for almost three years and have had numerous issues with the apartment. Most of them have not been repaired but maybe patched. The apartments are older and not the most energy efficient. My mother in laws home has months with cheaper electric bills then I did and the apartment was kept cool all winter (65 degrees)I'm pretty sure the apartment full of younger kids close by are selling drugs and the guy below them is constantly driving away and back all hours of the day and night. probably selling also. There are different cars in and out all hours of the day and night and while only two spaces are allowed per apartment, there are often five or more cars for this one. I would complain to Evelyn (the apartment managment) but she often seems annoyed to be bothered about anything involving repairs or issues with tenants making noise or parking violations. She rather send out a broad spectrum flyer addressing a few of the complaints throughout the entire complex and often buried among other needless information rather than address the problem directly. These are quickly becoming the slums of Sevierville and it's very hard to justify the cost of living here but it's very expensive to move and put down more deposits elswhere. The owners should be made aware but I can't find a way to inform them without going through Evelyn. Do NOT move here. it wa a nice quiet place but now it's old, dumpy looking and full or lower class people.

Our family has been at the Meadows for two and a half years. We have had a few issues also, however, Miss Evelyn has always arranged repairs, and the owners have been very accessible. You would probably find that Miss Evelyn would address your concerns, or have the owner contact you, if you bothered to go to the office and express your issues. Try it calmly, with a smile. It works better than all the hostility you seem to harbor. The people who move in here, are not generally prescreened. If they can pay the rent, and deposit, they are in-just as you got in. If you suspect drug dealings, which I have not seen at my end of the community, you should call the police to handle the situation. Calling Miss Evelyn to handle it is irresponsible. Confronting drug dealers is dangerous! Keep in mind though that not all active people with lots of friends are drug dealers. If all these lower class people are paying the same rent as you, what does it say about your class status? Some people have nothing better to do than complain. Children will play and sometimes be noisy. That is as it should be! Young adults or families will have friends come over. That is as it should be! Many people will also be "on the go," often coming and going. That is as it should be! Older folks find it harder to get around. Some here socialize and have very happy lives, while others just search for places to stick their nose in just to find a reason to complain, and usually lead miserable lives. That is just sad and not as it should be! You need to go to the right places to voice your concerns. You probably need to get a hobby, or a life! Perhaps, you could take an English course, you write terribly for someone as elite as yourself. It's never too late! To those in search of a place to rent, DO MOVE here if you can afford the rent. This is a nice, comfortable and safe community. Miss Evelyn and the owners are very accessible, reasonable and very lovely people. Keep in mind that they must operate within the real estate rental laws, and may not always be able to address your issues to your liking. But they will do everything within their power, beginning with warning letters when offenses occur. And, they have had to evict people who continue their offenses without reasonable explainations or actions. Respectfully, One of your, so called, "lower class" neighbors-but that's because you don't know me. Tonight, our family will pray for your contentment and happiness.

What a shameful lie about a very nice complex. Obviously this person had an axe to grind and couldn't think of another way to do it. This posting does not give a true portrayal of our quiet community. We are all hard working people who respect each other, certainly not lower class. Take a drive thorugh our community..you will see it is not "dumpy or run down" as stated falsely here.
