Review for Southwest Oakwood Apartments

I have been here since Jan 2007 and I have to say this is probably the most horribly run property I have ever lived in. "RuthAnn" in the office is a huge ----- and gets an attitude every time you call about something. The hallways are downright embarrassing. It took them over a year to get them painted and they kept telling me that my building was "next on the list". Even after they finished, the paint job is horrible and it looks like a 2 year old completed the job. Only about half of the washers work and some dryers don't work either and/or steal your coins. My water has been off twice in a week with NO notice. They give about a day's notice to let you know that pest control is coming so if you're in the shower or don't see the note they leave, too bad, that's an extra $35! Don't attempt to go for a month-to-month lease because they won't be able to tell you how much you owe and will raise your rent the day after it was already due on top of my monthly electric bill running about $130 in the summer months. Horrible place, ugly apartments, not kept up well, and the manager is a -----. Stay away.
