Review for Lancaster-Cornwall Apartments

This was our second apartment to live in. It was ridiculously rotten. Mgmt was horrendous. Maintenance took weeks/months. our apt flooded due to our upstairs neighbors, we had to dehumidify the place on our dime. plus they never gave us new carpet after the old carpet was definitely not livable. Garbage disposal broke monthly, we went 2 months without hot water after multiple complaints. The only thing that works with management is screaming and making physical threats. that might sound ridiculous, but that is what this place is, ridiculous. In the year that we were there rent went up 3 times, increasing a total of 120$ in 1 year, even though we sign ed a lease, they said it didn't matter and we would have to pay the new rate. whatever you do don't move in here.

Please understand that disgruntled individuals are more likely to post comments here (or anywhere else) than those that are satisfied. With hundreds upon hundreds of individuals having resided with us over the years, there are many, many more satisfied occupants than those that post negative comments here. We ask that you be cautious when considering any comments (especially negative ones), as they may simply be from residents that did not follow the rules, not pay their rent when due, or made it difficult for us to address their problem. Also, some comments may not relate to our current management team. We strive to operate the community with professionalism and a respect for our resident concerns. Should we find that our employees are not meeting that objective, they are replaced. Therefore, there is great incentive for them to do their jobs well. We hope that you will come by for a personal visit, meet with the current staff, and see the quality and size of the units that we offer. We take our reputation seriously and hope that you will give us the opportunity to make our community your new home.
