Review for Lake Colony Apartments

I have lived at The Lake Colony apartments now for a year and since living here I have had many problems. First, about a month after first moving in, I came home to find that both my bathrooms, my kitchen and a large area of my carpet were drenched in water. I called to ask why this happened and was told that there had been a building back up. Why that would cause water to come up and out of the sinks, tub drains, behind the refigerator, and from the dishwasher boggles my mind. NO ONE did anything about the carpet which took about 4-5 days to dry and was accomanied by a rancid smell. About two months later my toilet and shower both became backed up and I am still having issues with them even now. Once again, little has been done to resolve the issue. In April of 2008, my apartment once again was flooded due to "building backup" while a friend of mine was visiting and staying with me. It was quite embarassing to have that happen while you have guests from out of town stay with you. Recently, about 3 weeks ago, my apartment was flooded once again, this time worse than the others. I mean the floor was completely saturated all the way up to the living room. Some men came to fix the saturated apartment but came at about 9:30pm. and left my apartment a mess for four days. The icing on the cake after all of this is for the second weekend in a row, we have been without hot water. It started with a gas leak which they said would be fixed and hot water restored the following Monday. We can not take hot baths, we can't even use the driers in the laundry facility because apparantly they are gas powered. Well Monday rolled around and I found a notice on the door that said the owner decided it would be better to just replace the lines altogether so hot water would not be restored until the following Sunday. Well Sunday came about and still no hot water. Management informed me that it would be turned on today which is 08/18/08. We shall see!
