Review for Oakridge Apartments

have lived at Oakridge for one year now and I am very disappointed at the accommodations based on the price of rent.

The living rooms are tiny, room enough for one couch that can''t accommodate 4 roommates. The cleaning checks are an insult and they are very unforgiving. If I leave town for school work and a cleaning inspection occurred while I was gone I am charged for it. Our dishwasher it terrible, at best rinsing our dishes with hot water. I initially was excited by the pool and hot tub but later discovered that anytime there is a holiday or extended weekend, the person responsible for closing it up at night locks it for the break, making it inaccessible. The hot tub also malfunctions constantly and is closed. The office workers are unfriendly and uncompromising. Maintenance requests are extremely slow. In the winter time the parking lots remain unplowed and dangerous. In short Oakridge looks for any possible chance to nickle and dime you once you have signed your contract.

Oakridge does have a great location, a clubhouse, all utilities included, cable internet, and many other positive qualities. An LDS church is in walking distance and a sand volleyball court that I loved during the summer. However, if you're a 27 year old grad student and don't want to be treated like a freshman, find another place to live.
