Review for Oakbridge Apartments

I have lived there for two years and everything was fine until the leasing manager changed to Laura Compton. After she arrived she took away all grills and picninc tables (which had been previously permitted). Oak Bridge is a very old apartment comlex built in the 60's and you can tell everytime you drink the water (even after using a water filter). If you have a bike there is no sheltered place you can keep it. DONT RENT HERE unless you like quarterly inspections, old pipes, no electrical grounding, terrible managment and an inpersonal relationship with the leasing company.

I am the Property Manager at OakBridge Apartments. I did not take away "all grills and picnic tables." As a Property Manager I must ensure safety of all residents. It is state code against the state code to allow grills in mutli-unit dwellings. State Code-307.5 Open-flame cooking devices. Charcoal burners and other open flame cooking devices shall not be operated on combustible balconies or within 10 feet of combustible construction. Grills are not permitted due to the fire hazard that they present. OakBridge provides community grills on the property for residents use. We have also have a total of 7 picnic tables around the grill areas for the residents to enjoy. Management completes quarterly inspections to ensure safety, checking for working smoke detectors and completing filter changes. The managment strives for excellent customer service.
