Review for England Run North Apartments

Okay, I have only lived here a few months. When I first came here- I had heard HORRIBLE rumors of E.R.N. But I am not the type to always take other peoples word on it. I check out a 3 bedroom apartment. They are very spacious. The kitchen and living room are combined. (like many apartments) The closets are large. But there are no lights in any of the bedrooms. Bring lamps!! The bathrooms are decent. The water pressure rocks!!! I love that- and the water gets VERY hot. (great for me but not for kids, that can be dangerous!)
I got lucky as far as neighbors go. I have the best.(so far) Not too loud late at night. You can hear people in other apartments. (Mainly bathrooms)
As far as the office staff I really like Crystal and Tonya. They have great personalities. And they are always helpful. Stephanie (office mngr.) can be very nice- but then again she can be very nasty. They dont play games about rent being late. After that 5 day grace period- it's 10% more and at 7 days late you get a warning that you have 5 days to pay or it goes to court. (day 12)
Guess I should mention maintenance.Well, I personal think our maintenance men are great. They come when you call and are very nice. You can't help but smile when you see them they are always busy working hard- yet they are always in a great mood. If they cant fix the problem they try to get people out to take care of it- can't say the people they call are good. But - that's not there faults!The maintenance lady is a different story. I have only seen the woman smile once.
They do have people come clean the grounds. The housekeeping they have for move outs/ move ins needs to be replaced. I had to do a deep down clean once I got here. It looked decent but was a half az job.
But they are more flexable with credit- and have great rates! I do like it here. I do HATE the Elem. school. Hartwood Elem. is not a very good school at all. (Just for warning if you have young children!) There is also a rinky dink play ground here. No swings- it's very basic. And VERY bore'n!
Oh and speaking of young children they are everywhere- and there parents are nowhere to be found. Not the fault of ERN- just stupid people. So, if you don't like kids- don't move here.
