Review for Villaggio On Yarrow Bay Apartments

I have had countless issues with the Villaggio. The parking for one is horrible. If you do not race home RIGHT after work and fight for a spot you will not find one. They are not flexible about this and will tow your car if you are parked anywhere else. I have first hand experience -- and I live there.

Not only is parking an issue - but I have been given noise complaints for watching tv sitcom "Grey's Anatomy" on a Monday night. I have been written up for "parties" that consisted of me and 3 friends at my apartment having a drink and playing Guitar Hero. I have been told I cannot use my patio past the hours of 9:00pm any day of the week (then why am I paying extra for a patio''''). I have also been told that I must keep the noise down on a SATURDAY AFTERNOON in the SUMMER when having a BBQ on my PATIO.

I have been given an eviction notice on the grounds that I make too much noise, and am an unruly college party girl. NEWS FLASH *** I work an 8:00am to 5:00pm job, FULL TIME and pay my own rent. I come home and watch tv after work never go out, unless it is a weekend and to top it off I am new to seattle so I don't have many friends to have over.

The place is ridiculous. Their rules are ridiculous. There is no room for flexibility whatsoever. On top of this -- when you sign their lease they dont tell you that it is for 12 months and 30 DAYS. That means that when you think your lease is up it is NOT.

In addition they tell you that there is no deposit to put down, and you should move out in the condition you found your apartment (to most this means you should clean it). After cleaning with 2 people for 4 hours, they told us there was a $220 move out fee that INCLUDES cleaning.

They use deposit money, rent, and extra fees to pay for "community" parties around the poolside. But neglect to mention that your ammenities are not being fixed (e.g. the Sauna).

The Villaggio is not the place to be. The only person there who is worth any time at all is Greg - the maintenance man. He has gone above and beyond the call of duty and if it werent for him showing me there are kind people working for that establishment, I would have broken my lease a long time ago. I am THRILLED to be leaving the Villaggio. I will continue to spread this news on every review site I find until people know the truth about the Villaggio. Do NOT live here.
