Cheap, poorly maintained apartments with horrible repair service. The apartment we are in was cheap ($550 for two bedrooms) but the heating bill of $330 kills. Also, most of the apartments in Moscow are not grounded - your surge protector will not work, so any electrical problems will fry your TV, computer, etc.
