Review for The Timbers Apartments

concur with the previous reviewer in that the apartment complex looks good on the outside and the rent is reasonable. However, on the inside the apartments are untenable especially in the Summer months due to unusually noisy air conditioning systems. Also, the complex is managed directly by its owners who are unprofessional, inexperienced and untrustworthy. They are so naive as to threaten to take me to court if I rate their apartments. If you must choose this place, inspect your unit and its surroundings thoroughly before signing a lease, because any complaints you might have later will fall on deaf ears and you will be stuck. And speaking of courts, I have a court appointment with one owner on October 30th, the one who gave me the most headache. The text of my court complaint goes like this. 1) The defendant and I were involved in a landlord-tenant dispute. The defendant was the landlord; I was the tenant. 2) The defendant and I prepared to resolve the dispute in a court of law assisted by legal counsels. 3) The defendant proposed in writing a peaceful resolution which I accepted (i accepted because i thought they may be good and decent people.) 4) The defendant charged against my security deposit the legal fees she had purportedly incurred, on the assumption that had she proceeded to a court of law, she would have prevailed. 5) I believe that the defendant's assumption is false, therefore I am asking the court to order the defendant to refund my security deposit. wish me luck folks. this would be the first time i stand before a judge. i am not quite eager to meet a judge but they pissed me off so i have to do it for principles you know.
