Review for Lynnewood Gardens Court Apt Apartments

If you are thinking of living in this crap hole think again. I came down to Huntsville to do a four month internship and the only place I could find to do a short term lease was Lynnewood gardens. One of the first things that I noticed was on the back of the landlord Bonnie's car someone had keyed "Bitch" into it which was a sign that the neighborhood probably wasn't too great. Next was when I went around back to check out my unit, it became very apparent to me that this place was basically its own ghetto. The condition of the parking lot was terrible and swarming with people who I would feel unsafe living with. The one night that I spent there was a night of hell, all I heard were people partying, babies crying, people fighting, and people blaring music. The landlord told me that the water was safe to drink, think again the water came out of every faucet, shower, and toilet brown. I even tried running the water for a few minutes to see if it would get clear again, but no, it stayed a consistent brown. Also Im pretty sure my neighbor tried to break into my apartment on the first night. I heard my doorknob jiggling and when I opened up the door he claimed that he thought it was his apartment. He's live there for years and obviously knows which apartment is his. Then finally to add insult to injury, when I bought some food the next day and set it on my stove to put it away, about ten roaches crawled out from behind my stove, then upon checking behind the stove found out that the entire place was infested with roaches. So after one night I demanded out of the lease. Bonnie said I would be charged for the utilities I used that one night, but I have no intentions on paying. Don't let Bonnie lie to you, the place is a nightmare.
