I live downstairs in a two bedroom apartment, one bathroom. The Master bedroom a comfortable size but the wall closet does not provide enough storage space unless you are poor and only have 2-4 sets of clothes and shoes. The 2nd bedroom that I have is closest to the outside sidewalk; you can hear people walking by and their conversations. The walls are paper thin.

When it’s cold, if I want to pay 50% more for my electricity bill I will leave the 2nd bedroom door open. When the door is closed the room is ice cold … while the rest of the apartment is warm … so if I leave the door open the cold air from this room constantly keeps the heater running to try to warm the apartment … like I said before the walls are paper thin …guess there is not much insulation at all.

The living room is small and feasible if you are a college student and this is just a dorm for you other wise if you are a family or a couple it’s like living in a hotel. The same for the Kitchen the kitchen is small, if you have one or two pots, plats, cups, oven sheets … then you’ll be alright … when you add a microwave, toaster, a few extra cups, plates, bowls, pots & pans … then you are just screwed. I remember needing some pots and pans and my parents got me some for Christmas of 2006 …. I was so excited … I guess I still am because I get to look at those pots and pans clean or dirty, because I don’t have any space to put them in.

My neighbors above us must like to pour glasses of water in the floor; well probably it’s a leaking pipe, dishwasher, and clothes washer. In my ceiling in the kitchen there are water spots that show, also above my washer and dryer the ceiling has one huge water spot, I assume there must be mold all through out the ceiling … but amazingly every time the owners come to do inspections those spots get painted over before they inspect my apartment. It’s nice because the ceiling is white again for about 1 to 2 days.

The living room window has water damage, guess it is not weather proofed well. I went to raise my mini-blinds and they support just feel out of the wood/wall on the side of the window … the wood seems to be rotted. Its fine in the master bedroom.

The tub/shower … hot water lasts for 10 minutes while in the shower …. I mentioned it once to the management and asked them if my hot water heater was shared with another apartment … they told me each apartment has their own water heater … guess my heater coils are burned out …. Oh well. Also the ceiling above my shower looks like its caving in …. I guess one day I will hear a crash fall through the ceiling, I’ll see my up stairs neighbor in there shower in my bathroom; my current neighbor is really ugly so it wont be a pretty sight.

That about covers it … I’m looking for a house, trying to move out soon, at this point I would even take a mobile home … it would be much better then this.
