I personally like living in Collegiate Hall. I admit that the advertisements about the community are not exactly true though. There is no longer a gate for security purposes, but I have noticed there are officers on duty at night. That makes me feel safe when I'm coming home from work after midnight. The other amenities are not very appealing. For example, the computers in the lab are hardly functioning well. The pool doesn't seem to have been cleaned.... ever! Parking is no longer an issue since it's the summer. However, throughout the school year residents are hardly able to park near their building. People do not actually use the parking decal; therefore, guests are allowed to park outside the VISITOR- designated area. Collegiate Hall isn't a bad community, but it definitely has its flaws.
