They frequently charge renters for preexisting conditions in apts. to cut corners. For example our carpet was in pretty bad condition (general wear and tear) when we moved in. It was time to move out and management said the carpet did not look good so we would be charged $500. We tried to explain that the carpet was in this condition before we moved in but thought since they did not change it before it must be up to their standards. We tried to discuss the matter with them but they would not return any of our phone calls and were very rude when we made attempts to go by their office. If you do not want to pay for up keep that the apartment should I do not suggest living here!
