In three years at this hole, I've only had one decent set of neighbors out of four in the apartment to the right of me. The landlord doesn't check references as he should, obviously. It only took me one phone call to find out that the neighbors I have now have been evicted from the last three places they've lived. Why? Mom's a certified NUTSACK and the kid is as bad. He likes to kick and beat on the walls for no reason. He also likes to set stuff on fire...usually under the leaky gas meters out back. Maybe one day, the rest of the world will get lucky and he'll blow himself and this craphole to kingdom come. I'm out of here this month, so whatever happens will be kismet, karma, whatever you want to call it. I'm sitting here after midnight listening to them have a screaming fight with plenty of stomping and door slamming. To hell with the fact that some of us don't live on Section 8 and work for a living. I have to be up at 7 am and it looks like another late night and then going to work exhausted tomorrow.
Trailer trash neighbors aren't the only problem here. We have a Peeping Tom, we have vandals who like to cut satellite cables and rummage your trash trying to get personal info and constant traffic out front at all hours of the day and night. Sirens and boom cars at all hours? We've got those, too! Parking is horrible here. If you have a small car while those living around you have behemoth SUV's, expect to have an accident.
Speaking of accidents, we have drunken illegal aliens who like to smash into our parked cars. REALLY NICE PLACE TO LIVE! The one saving grace of this place is the head of maintenance. The guy is AWESOME and timely when you can get him. He fixes problems correctly the first time. The landlord, however, is a spineless worm who will not enforce the clauses in his own damned lease. Your right to quiet enjoyment of the premises means absolutely NOTHING. He leaves his leasing manager to handle all the complaints and doesn't even like for his tenants to know his name. It's FRED NUNNELLY!!!!!!!!!!!!
