Apartment Review for Central Garden Apartments

My wife and I moved here over a year ago and there are several things I don't like about the apartment. 1. On holidays and during the summer, people are randomly shooting. On New Year's Eve, it sounded like a warzone. 2. Drafty. During the summer the air runs almost nonstop b/c we can't get the apartment to stay temperate and during the winter the heater runs constantly for the same reason. 3. Too many people are walking through the community at ANY given time of day or night. People who live there, don't live there, don't work there, etc... 4. The rent isn't bad, but this place, from what I understand from the people who have lived there awhile, was a slum to begin with that got bought out and refurbished. Usually no problem, but the area is infested with riffraff just the same. We got robbed right after Thanksgiving of this year and the police acted like it was no big thing. <P>
