Our Review for Hickory Knoll Apartments

The Hickory Knoll Apartments are located in the Homewood area of Birmingham, off of highway 65 near the Village on Green Springs Shopping Area, The Galleria, the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and Todd’s Shopping Mall Center. The apartments feature gas fireplaces, a high speed Internet connection, and a swimming pool for resident use. Reviews raved about the friendly and helpful staff members, yet they also noted that the foundation of the complex could use some attention and noise has been a problem.

My daughter and I have lived in 3 other apartments in Homewood and Hickory Knoll is the best by leaps and bounds. Nikki the office Manager is great and the maintenance guys, Mike and John, are really good. I recommend this place to everyone. LT.

When I first began residency at Hickory Knoll, it was very quiet and, for the most part, had a fairly stable base of residents. Under new ownership Hickory Knoll has become a dormatory for several of the colleges around town. There's more trash, noise and parking can be a problem especially in the evenings. <P>
