Apartment Reviews for Inverness Landing
DON'T DO IT!!!!!!

I am relocating to Birmingham and noticed that this apartment complex had a pretty good review rating. We went to look at the apartments on May 3. The leasing agent told us that the apartment wasn't ready to show, but decided with another co-worker that they would show it to us anyway. BAD DECISION!!! When walked up to the apartment the neighbors had trash outside of their patio. It was dark when she went to open the door, but no too dark to hide all of the trash and spider webs around the door. I would not have shown that apartment to a blind man, it was horrible. The kithen appliances looked like they were made in the 70's and the bathroom fixtures were torn up and in the bathtub. We figured the leasing agent didn't like the owner's of the property because there was absolutely NO WAY the owner's would have shown that apartment to prospective tentants. When we got back to the office, (I had to go back in to get our DL's) the leasing agent told me that she really liked living there. She obviously hasn't left the complex in years. There are several apartments in the Inverness area that are really nice that are in the same price range. I found a luxury apartment that cost a bit more but trust me it will be well worth it. Be careful when you are looking for an apartment, don't just read the reviews, shop around. <P>

Only one of the staff members ives on property and it's not a woman, you were bald-faced lied to! The owners don't give a good %$^&#@ what happens here as long as they get their money. This once was a great place to live you were wise and lucky not to sign a lease!
