The Village at Caldwell Mill is an apartment complex found in the southern part of Birmingham, outside of the Meadowbrook area. Also nearby you can find Cahaba Mall Shopping Center, Altadena Country Club and Golf Course, and the Altadena Square Shopping Center. Known for its tasteful and elegant décor and friendly atmosphere, the Village at Caldwell Mill offers a clubhouse for resident use and provides tenants with a monthly activities letter. Reviews noted the apartments are very well kept and clean, but especially quiet, which makes a good place for older couples to settle. Despite the outstanding reviews, a handful of residents complained of their water being turned off and on at inopportune times of the day.

Nice place, we miss living there. It was clean and the office staff was extrememly nice. The only problem was the walls were paper thin. We did have a problem with a noisy neighbor, but the management was very helpful in fixing the problem. They were so nice, they even let us break our lease without penalty when we found out we were expecting a baby and wanted to move closer to family.
