Apartment Reviews for Dewberry Downs Townhouses - Hoover

18 months ago, I was referred to Dewberry Downs by a co-worker. Living there has been an absolute pleasure. It is spacious, affordable, and centrally located to Hoover and Birmingham. While I was skeptical about living in a split-level town home, it was the best decision I've made. The community is beautiful, and the staff have been nothing but helpful.

Since moving in, I have had issues with my air conditioning and my upstairs bathtub leaking. Both were resolved quickly and professionally. While the apartments aren't brand new, they are well-maintained by management who has an investment in the community.

Management could be a little more on top of maintenance issues. I have several ongoing problems that don't seem very important to them. Aside from that though, I have had a great experience so far. Everyone is extremely nice and easy to reach. The neighbors are great. The pool is clean and closely monitored. The rent is very reasonabe. They are careful about who they let in - no felons etc. It's a clean quiet community at a perfect location. No bug or rodent problems to speak of. The best part is the large deck where I spend 80% of my down time. I would highly recommend Dewberry!
