Review for Hampton Falls Apartments

This apartment complex is supposed to be the best in Huntsville. If that statement is true, the Huntsville apartment selection has lots of room for improvement. Let me begin by discussing the worst service ever conceived...valet garbage. There are rules that you should not put the garbage out but a few hours before service around 8 PM Sunday through Thursday. People begin throwing bags outside their door on Friday mornings and just leave them. Black stains cover the outside of each apt where bags have leaked and it just looks nasty. There was a trail down the staircase of gooey, black tar-like substance where a bag leaked. The apartments are built with the cheapest materials and you will hear all who walk up and down the stairs at night. I have a Dyson vacuum cleaner and I do not know how any carpet (cheapest I have ever seen) remained on that floor. Every time I cleaned, I would have to empty the carpet from the roller and tank twice. The office staff was never helpful as service calls were never answered and they really did not seem to care if you complained about someone breaking the rules to which I adhered. They claimed that they do not prorate rent when moving out of the apt. However, they kept going in my apt almost every day when I was moving out because they wanted to allow a new tenant in when my rent was paid through the end of the month. They called me daily to ask when I would be out and I would tell them the end of the month. They finally said they would refund a portion of my rent but never did refund all that they promised. My moving came at a time of a change of ownership/mgmt. The owner at the time of my residency was Enfinger-Steele Development. I can not speak with regard to the new owner/mgmt. I would rate this complex 0 stars but the scale to the left permits 1 as the lowest.
