Review for Camden Pecos Ranch Apartments

I lived here for 13 months. The first 2 months were great. Then we got this new manager, her name is Wendy. She is a b!@$# and a half. We ended up getting all new neighbors and they were mostly younger (which I am too but we are very quiet). There was constant noise, then the place started to fall apart. We started getting bugs because she must have cut back on the pestcide spraying. We had crickets, earwigs, cockroaches and black widows something awful. Then the stry cats got completely out of control. One night we counted 18 CATS!!! That is just a bit rediculous dont you think?!? Outside of our front door smelled just like cat pee. It was so disgusting. Then our neighbor above us got a dog and it barked about 20 hours a day. Well, we had a baby and I wasnt able to sleep and neither was my baby. I did what most people would have done after not sleeping for about 3 dats, I called the office. I very politely told them of the problem and they said that they would handle it. That night, the dog barked all night again. I called the office again and got talked to like I was a piece of s@!#. Wendy told me that she cant fix every complaint and that I need to deal with it because thats how apartment living is. Well, I called corporate. Then it still took them 3 MONTHS to get rid of this dog. I was staying with family practically every other night just to get some sleep. So, needless to say, I was looked at by the office as a complainer and they treated me terribly. Then, about 10 days from the end of our lease, WENDY wanted to do a walk through of my apartment. We had boxes everywhere and there was no way I was going to let her in. She tried to get pushy with me and I told her that if she was planning on entering she had better have the police with her. Okay, normally, I wouldnt have cared. It was more because she was going to be able to inspect it all she wanted to in a little over a week, I hated her and she hated me, and I had a way (finally) to get under her skin. Well, she never showed up. Then, I wanted the number to corporate (I didnt tell her why, but it was to let them know about their terrible choice in management) and she told me that I was a "big girl" and that I could find it for myself and hung up on me. So I called back about 10 times in a row before anyone answered and she called me a F@#$ING B!@$%!!! Anyways, now they are trying to charge me $1000 for bogus charges and their collection agency calls the numbers they have on us about a total of 5-10 times a day (NOT EXAGGERATING). I have told them that I want reciepts and I have told Wendy too. Basically I have been told to "just pay it" and that they dont have to show me proof af anything. Well, lets just see about that. I'm getting organized to charge the collection company with harassment and I'm going to take Camden to court. This is hurting my credit. So basically, if you havent signed yet....dont. If anyone you know is interested, dont even think about it. You will think it is soooo nice and after a month or two, you will wish you hadnt even known Camden existed. Good luck to all!
