I'm not sure why people would rather complain about the landlord doing nothing about the noise instead of getting to know their neighbor well enough that there's not friction when you knock on the door at 11:00 and ask them if they can turn the stereo/tv down a little bit. If the footsteps above you are an issue, live upstairs or buy a house--that's simply a part of apartment living.

Maintenance concerns are addressed within 24 hours.

They have an issue with pigeons in my breezeway. Unfortunately, there is sometimes a rather large pile of droppings before it's cleaned.

The management is lackluster. I have nothing positive to say about their office staff. I've had no problems, but they always leave the impression that you're an interruption in their day instead of the reason they're employed.

You don't go to anyone's door, it will backfire on you. You just THINK you know someone, wait till you go ask them to turn something down. Right. The MANAGERS are supposed to DO THEIR JOB and adjust a bad neighbor FOR YOU. Or, call the cops if the managers do nothing.
Go knock on a door and you don't know what you might get. But these managers at this place could care less. They like to sit on their fat asses instead.
