Apartment Reviews for Villamora Apartments
We Expected More

Great floor plans, nice landscaping and nice pool, but that's the best thing we could say about this place. Tight parking lot, and the condition upon move in was les than nice; they had to fix quite a few items right, some were a bit hazardous. Plus we couldn't use the master shower at first because it was WAY too hot. *The master closet doors were put on BACKWARDS (opens inward) in all apartments so you lose a lot of closet space and cannot close the door if you hang items in the closet - nice huh!* Likewise, the master bathroom door was put on BACKWARDS (opens outward), so that is just a little uncomfortable. No lock. The "fixes" in the apartment are "half-assed", probably little budget to fix things right. The A/C (in AZ!) is inconsistant, so your master bedroom could be VERY WARM with little flow in the middle of summer, and maitenance can't fix it. We had our master bathroom checked out, and were told that's just how it is, and it varies by apartment; I guess we should be glad it wasn't our bedrooms? That's terrible! Also, we've had at least six scorpians, the apartment compound layout is an echo-chamber so it's noisy when people are outside, even if they're just talking. Most of the office staff is nice enough, but not fast-acting. The current office manager has been very rude for no reason when discussing an issue so I ended up calling the regional manager who had her apologize. Not professional. We've had numerous issues with neighbors; door slamming, loud talking patio cell-phones, loud movies/TV , loud parties, loud car stereos, neighbors that leave their dogs out on their patio to bark for way too long, sometimes hours, so this is still just another apartment complex with rude, inconsiderate people that live here along with the nice quiet ones. Apartment living is not easy, but there are better places than this I'm sure. I can't recommend this place due to all of the issues we've had, and lack of caring and professionalism by the manager and other staff. On the renewal letters they can't even get my name right. How dumb! You'd think they'd want to at least make sure they had the right name, but they were way off. My husband's name was correct. I've only mentioned a few issues, but there have been more. (Today our car is blocked in by parking lot maintenance that should have been done yesterday, and the staff here didn't even bother to notify anyone. But when it comes to renewal letters and parties they sure spend a lot of time and energy on that stuff! It's clear what they care about; making and taking your money, but not making sure you can get your kids to school!)
