We moved to Azul in October. The Office staff is very efficient and friendly. Upon moving in, all questions were handled promptly and in a professional manner. We were made to feel at home here and were enjoying all of the amenties!

I went to Borrego first and loved it but since they weren't pet friendly I decided to sign a lease with Azul. Just like any other apartment complex, the office staff were so nice when you were in to sign the lease. Once you sign that lease it's game over. The office staff is very passive-aggressive and I dread having to go in or call to talk to them about a problem. Granted, I'm not a great tenant (I'm late on rent quite often) but when they leave a 5 day notice on your door the "rent" section is always different. They try and trick you into paying more thinking you won't catch the raise in rent. I've even had my rent be at least $100 less than what it really should be. Besides the office staff being lowsy (with the exception of Cassondra), the apartment complex has gone down hill. They will let anyone move in. When I first moved in I was probably the youngest person that lived there (18 at the time). But now you see Sheriffs staking out the complex and raiding apartments. I've known of three different people growing marijuana inside their apartments. The pool is ALWAYS loud. I've heard domestic violence going on at least four different times during the night. People don't pick up after their animals (I've been guilty of this a few times). The dog park at night is probably the scariest place to be especially now-a-days. There are no lights out there and it's pitch black. No good. The maintenance is really good. They're always there to fix your problems within a day. One of the maintenance guys came and fixed my door and was a complete *** to me. He just made me feel really stupid while I was trying to explain what was wrong with it. Um, parking has gotten a little hard lately. It's always pretty packed at nights. I'm stuck having a reserved spot next to this guy who works at a car dealership and has new cars/trucks every other week. It gets pretty hard to park my truck into my space (when there's a pole on one side of my space) and this *** who doesn't know how to park correctly. He's always too close or in my spot as well. The property itself is really great. It's very well kept and the apartments are actually very beautiful. I've never had a problem with anything or anyone. Like I stated above, my only main concerns are the office staff are very rude and very passive-aggressive. They up your rent every chance they get and they're charging me up the *** to move out. I would have recommended this place to my friends and family but not now. There's too many shady people that live there now and it's getting quite expensive. That's why I'm moving out. I can't afford it. Anyway, I hope this helps! I hate reading apartment reviews from people who are just peeved about one situation and are very one-sided. I was honest on my review and tried to give a good/honest one.

The Office Personel (previously uptight girls) have greatly improved their negative attitude, which in the past reflected so badly in the beautiful grounds of the property, a smile just goes a loong way! This property is small, intimate settings, nice small heated pool, good range wi-fi is a big plus, small but decent gym, prices are a just a little bit higher than the surrounding bigger/better complexes, but I guess you are paying for a good location and the small intimate setting. Recommended yes !

The Borrego grounds have improved a lot since my last visit a month ago, state of the art apple computers, better gym, better cafe, 24 hrs pool now better/safer with the security guard roaming the grounds at night, plus the daily 6pm-8pm garbage container collection service allows us to place the container right outside our door. I think they are making an effort to improve. Office staff have become a bit more friendly (since the early complaints of being unfriendly and "stucked-up" to all the visitors), over all a big improvement.

So far, the staff has been pretty bad. They are very short tempered and when you ask them to do their job, espically the Black haired one(desk farthest from entrance; do your best to avoid service with her) it s like pulling teeth. The rest has been ok.

Do not let the dog park lure you into moving here. The dog park is filled with feces every single morning. The office staff says that they are not responsible. Who is then? It is on their property. My dog has been sick so many times due to parasites. Many of my friends have had trouble too. There is also an irrigation problem, so half of it is flooded in the morning. Then, your dog is dirty and stains the carpet. There are also three huge sewer lines (the round ones) in the middle of the park.

my husband, i ,and our two kids have lived here (borrego) for a little over three months not. were moving out and transfering to a different mark-taylor only because of his job. the only problems we have had there are that the walls and floors are VERY VERY thin. YOU CAN HEAR EVERYTHING! were a remotly quite family (in our early 20's) and we like to keep to ourselves. well the day after we moved in i woke up to this VERY loud sound in the hallway outside my apartment, it was the neighbor kid riding his car back and forth back and forth...to say the least it was really annoying and it echoed all throughout my house. it woke me up alot of mornings. well i tried to get the office to ask them to tell there kid to play on the sidewalk and not to ride in the hall way because i have a one month old (now) and they said there was nothing they could do about it. also we live in a second floor apartment and the guy below us seems to hear every movement we make. my daughters two years old and likes to run around the house(what two year old doesnt) and he hits his ceiling soo hard our floor vibrates. its horrible. well ive tried calling the cops and the cops didnt get it to stop. BUT the apartment courtesy patrol guy did. he was very nice and helpfull. i just feel like i have to tip toe in my own house. the only other complaint i have is the parking kinda sucks. they are way to cramped, the poles get in the way (they are right beside your door when your getting out) and nobody parks in the right spots. other than that i can tell you that the staff is friendly and i like the amenities. pool is GREAT! we have cookouts down there alot and we love the tv's by the fireplace. oh and my husband caught some guys breaking into cars, the cops got the guys but couldnt charge them because they didnt steal anything.... the apartments have yet to send out a letter notifying tenants to lock there cars!!! also ive only seen one spider in my house the whole time, which is good compared to any other place ive lived!
