Pros: No Scorpions! Our last place Colores Del Sol had at least 2-3 a week. Quite, no loud parties, good security. Apartments are old, but they have good maintenance. They even helped me jump my car once. Clean unit,clean carpets walls, etc. Grounds are kept up, grass cut, bushes trimmed, lines painted. Reasonably priced, after your lease is up they let you stay month to month without a new contract at the same rate. Great move in specials.
Cons: Buildings are old, but kept up. Some of the appliances are old, but work.
Over all I like it very much. I have had apartments for five years some much newer and nicer more modern than this. I prefer this over them, the others always had something wrong, scorpions, poor security, break-ins, etc.
Recommend it to anyone.

The Playa Palms are ok/ Parking sucks/ people are not patient and I had to wait a few weeks for a work order to be filled/ the maintance and security don't seem serious about their jobs ( playing bumper cars with the gocarts around complex)/ insides are ok but not moder at all. <P>
A good starter apt. but not a place for long term. <P>

Pros: has all the amenities of much higher priced complexes. grounds are nice, kept clean and well groomed. Parking is ample in the rear of the complex. Pretty quiet except near the pools. You feel safe here! Great location, easy access to freeways, markets and many shopping centers and restaurants. <P>
Cons: maintenance is always quick to repair but they have had a quick turn around on maintenance guys and the work sometimes needs to be repeated. Hopefully they will get a crew like they used to have and this would be top notch. <P>
