I singed a 1 year lease that is almsot up. When I moved to the complex in May. When I first moved into the apartment my air condition did not work. That was fixed within 1week. My toliets have over flowed since the first month of move in. Not all work request are recorded by the office or maitence men. It is now February and they are now willing to do something to fix the toliet issues!! Did I mention that I have had to plung andor clean up toliet water at least 3X a month if not more since I moved in im May. In Dec. and Jan. my electirc bill went up 75% while the average apt. in the complex went up only 30-50%. The tried to "fix" my heat four to five times before they actullay fixed the problem. I had no heat for 3 nights when it was 30 degees outside. The apartment has offered to give me a $58 credit for my electric bills doubing. Wow. Thats not alot considering I paid almost $300 for to months of electric that was not working properly! The also after argument gave me an extra $100 off for my toliets over flowing. Agian not much! I spent more then that on new towel, cleaning supplies, mats and my time!!!! Also, when my apartment was broken into I got an "What do you want us to do about it" by the person in the office. The apartment complex states it is a secure area. LIE! The gates to get into the apartment do not need keys anyone and everyone walks into the complex. On friday nights there are a group of guys who hang out in the parking lot selling car accessories. I mentioned this to the apartment manger 3x only when I called the Archstone customer service line did my issues get addressed. And the manager all the sudden did not know I was having these problems. I guess she magically forgot. People who I know rent here also have problems with ants, things not getting fixed properly or timely and parking spots are taken away without notice. They pool and the fitness rooms are dirty most of the time. The apartment at first glance looks like a good bargin but don't get fooled by apperances. I'm not the only person who has problems with managment. I just one of the only ones who is tired of all the problems and writting about them!!!!
