First off I had doubts when I initially moved in. They said that it was inspected, and there was a few problems that somewhat had me worried. Most management is kind, but a person here and there kind of gives you the cold shoulder. In terms of bugs...its Arizona, of course there is bugs. I only had the exterminator one time, never needed him since. The pool is very nice (and yea it should be cold when its 106 degrees!), the gym is sub-par, but the location is awesome. My only current concern is that I think people use the pool that 1) don't live there and or 2) are immature and grope and makeout in front of kids. Every place you go has ups and downs. If you don't research, or ask people living there whats the low down, then shame on you. After most of the bumps were fixed, I do enjoy living there. I have a lot of stores, restaurants, and entertainment just a few hundred yards away. It doesn't hurt that it costs $200 less than an apartment at my school, which doesn't have much life around it. I definitely like living there after living in Erie, PA, and My current school...I overall rate Courtney Vista a B-. There are a few things that need to be changed, but I will definitely live there for till I

I got away from the nasty Newport Apartments hopefully for the better. Well the staff is unfriendly, other than Nicole, and very disorganized. Since the first day we moved in, we were constantly being "harassed" by the front office with stupid notices and mistakes on their behalf. First they claimed we paid the wrong deposit, pet deposit amount, then they filed a standard lawsuit for not paying rent when we already pro-rated it upon move-in, then we get some notice to go back to the office and initial more mistakes. We had to sign our paperwork 4 different times. We got a complaint for vacuming at 10 pm. Is the construction that crappy that I can't even vacum when I get off work?? Then we had a little girl come bvisit us for a couple hours that same night and they told us to get a 2 bedroom apartment since we only claimed 2 people on our lease. Also there is dirt in our ice machine so everytime I get a glass of something to drink, the bottom of the cup will be filled with dirt. Aside from the rude staff, disorganization and crappy construction, the area is extremely quiet, the ammenities are excellent and the apartment view is phenomenal!!

For a new complex, they have a serious problem with dog poop on the grounds. It's everywhere! I was told they would have dog poop waste stations for disposal but still none to be found. Now, the office sends a monthly letter asking everyone with dogs to walk the pet outside the complex. I feel like I live at the pound. For what we pay in rent, buy some stations like all the other nice complexes in town. <P>
