Apartment Reviews for Rancho Santa Fe - Glendale

I lived at Rancho Santa Fe on two previous occasions. A person has to take the good along with the bad. Their maintenance staff were the best. The apartments were in great condition. I never saw ONE ROACH. The pool and hot tub were the best in the world, nothing like floating on your back in the nice pool and looking up at the kewl palm trees surrounding the pool, and just try doing it at night and looking at the clear sky and the twinkling stars! I did not like that there was no lock on the gate coz surrounding neighbors who did not live in the complex would come and bring their kids esp. in the evening after the office staff were not around, but they told me that to put a lock on the gate = people in the complex copy the key and SELL the key to the surrounding neighbors to make money!!! Mgt. told me to call the police if I thought people who did not live there were in the pool, which is not my nature to call the police on someone--geez god if ppl got the ballz to sneak in and swim at night leave 'em alone I guess.... The laundry room was kept well clean and lit and the hot tub was always HOT and the pool was always clear...I lived at Stillwater down the road on 51st Ave and their hot tub was never even WARM and the pool was so nasty and eventually closed coz the pump wasn't working and it became hazardous to swim in it. I never felt unsafe at Rancho Santa Fe. I had a problem or two with management but as one of you stated they go through phases...and who doesn't like this or that about a place to live? Overall this was the best place I have ever rented and I have rented alot of apartments in several cities in the United States and I hope to return to Glendale, Arizona soon! You really wanna know what ****** me off the most? ALL THE NOISE FROM SPRING MEADOW APARTMENTS right behind Rancho Santa Fe. I called their management several times myself and their management was **** compared to Rancho Santa Fe's management! Have a nice day! Pat Tate <P>
