Positive Apartment Reviews and Ratings
Love it here ( over a year ago )

I moved in a little over 6 months ago and love it. I moved here from Ohio and rented the apartment through email so I was very nervous when I got here. I was very happy with my decision. Walking distance to my school, quiet, and close to the grocery store which was a big deal for me.

I really like it here. Sagestone is a great community. The office staff are friendly and approachable and maintanence issues get addressed promptly. They are always working on something to improve the apartment complex. Additionally, it is a great location, close to the 101 so you can get anywhere.

there is no courtesy patrol on weekends when the young college students that rent there get drinking. they take glass to pool area they throw furniture all over the swearing is terribnle. management states they don't need it. but the police are called every weekend. and if you wanted to soend time at the pool you couldn't. cars are being broken into or stolen.it has gotten worse these past two years many of the tenants like myself have leases due the end of the year many are not renewing unless there are changes. new owners are suppose to be ding so much better but we don't see it.

I am a current resident and have lived here a year and just signed on for another year. I do not know what the other resident is talking about with dog poop everywhere...the grounds are very clean and well groomed. Whenever something is broken it gets fixed immediately. The entire staff is wonderful.

I have not lived here but I can empathize what some of the other writers have stated. When I looked at these apartments, I was quite impressed. Honestly, the layout and design of these apartments were far superior to that of nearby San Lagos and San Prado. However, what disturbed me the most was the hostile and rude service of it's management. One of the ladies was so rude to me when I asked to negotiate the price. I have learned in the past, when the front office is rude then it's likely the service at the complex can't be much better. The other aspects that bothered me was that their phone lines and internet connectivity was through Qwest. I couldn't get high speed internet through Cox because Sage Stone works exclusively with Qwest. So those triple bundle packages through Cox couldn't be purchased here. <P>

A very bitter experience living at this place. Positive reviews are probably coming from residents either employed, know the staff or haven't been there long enough. I was there over 2 years and the only thing that kept me there was the renewal consessions and location. The staff was arrogant and unfriendly. The new manager had zero people skills. It seemed like the Sheriff's department was there once a week. About a year ago I had a neighbor that was supposedly dealing cocaine. All hours of the day we had shady looking people, pimped up rides in and out of the complex and her apartment. That's one of several stories I could tell. Fortunately I had a garage and could lock things up for the night. Then when I moved out they sent a bill for $330 in damages. That included cleaning, new rug, wall paint and get this $15 to remove a sticker off the refrigerator. All of that is normal wear and tear. The apartment was in the same condition from when I rented it. Never again, beware!!!!
