Apartment Review for Sunrise Village

I really like this complex. Very nice, with nice people. It's pretty quiet and because I only have one car I have a place to park all the time. I love living here except for the fact that the rent has gone up almost $200 in the past 11 months. They have been doing a crap load of renovations, new signs, painting the entire complex, two giant water foutains that they don't keep enough water in and adding plants that are already dying. They have changed the name of the complex to Verrado Park Apartment Homes. I guess now that they added the word "home" they figure they can charge the amount of a house. I live in a one bedroom apartment that 11 months ago cost $575 and now costs $740. It is ridiculous. They said it was because they have had full occupancy for the past few months and said they might raise it again. I have already seen 3 apartments being cleaned out. If the rent is raised again, I am out of here. A tiny one bedroom is NOT worth $740. <P>
