Apartment Review for Argenta

I just moved out of these apartments after one awful year. In that year they changed management twice and when I had issues with things in my apartment they never got fixed and my phone calls to the office were never returned. When I moved in I put down a security deposit, just like you do at all other apartments, and was told i'd get it back when I moved out if the apartment was in good condition. I cleaned the apartment from floor to ceiling and even got on my hands and knees and cleaned spots on the carpet that were there when I moved in. I did a final walk through with management and was told the apartment looked fantastic and there would be no problem getting my deposit back. After many phone calls and visits to the office, I was just told that my apartment was left in terrible condition and would not be receiving my deposit back after all. So apparently no matter how clean you leave it, the management does not plan to give back any deposits. Also, the roads were always flooded due to broken sprinkler heads that never get fixed, there are cockroaches in the kitchen that come up through the drains, everyone that lives there thinks they automatically have the right of way when driving so there are many almost collisions in the parking lot. Make sure to have copies of all your paperwork at all times because the office is very disorganized and loses all your paperwork and without it you get charged fees because they claim you never turned it in. the front office never answers their phones. my husband was asked to come to the office to sign a paper when he had a chance because he's at work all day and not home when the office was open usually and after waiting in the office for 15 minutes was told to "leave", without any other words and come back so the only person working could leave for lunch. I will never recommend this complex to anyone after all the horrible things that my husband and i experienced living in this complex. I wouldn't even give them one star.
