Apartment Review for Sun Valley Ranch

We have lived in these apartments for almost 5 years now. We have always paid on time and we keep to ourselves. When we first moved in the management was great, now it is horrible. The landscaping is never done, the gate is always broken and the maintence is slow.
Most of all, the office staff is horrible and the owners are very rude and nasty. Take this month, we called the friday before labor day and asked if we were allowed to pay on Monday the holiday with out it being late. They told us that it would be just fine (we have done it before). Well, now they are trying to say that we didn't even pay it until 2 days after the holiday! They refused our check and said we had to pay by cashier's check, and they tacted on over $100 in fines.
The last time we renewed our lease, they raised the rent $150.00!!! I wish I were kidding. We bought a new house and there will be 2 months of overlap with the apartment. They will not let us pay out our lease and leave, if we leave early there is a fee of $1500 plus whatever discount they gave us through out the year which is upwards of $2000. They are making us leave all the utilities on, even though we are actually living in the apartment.
Please, do not even attempt to rent here. These people are nasty, money-hungry, and they are far from the "luxury" status they acclaim to.
