We fell in love with how the apartment is set up. We are the farthest away from the street, so you don't hear the street noise. It's pretty quiet, the majority of the time. Especially if you are home from work and want to take a nap.

We've never had any problems with the maintenence team. With a few new members, they are nice and proffessional.

However, with the new staff, I've heard horror stories. We came in after they had sold the property to a new company, and the staff was friendly in the beginning, but when we wanted something done, oh forget it.

We had to call the police 4 times, complained 6 times to the office, for noise disturbance. We have college kids that live next door, who think it's a good idea to start a party at midnight, and go until 4am!!! We both have to get up early for school and work. We finally put our foot down and said "We really want you to do something about this." They told us, for us to have any collaterol, we need to bring in the police reports. We brought gave them the reports and they told us they'd get back to us about what was going to happen to our neighbors.

We thought they'd be evicted.

Nope.

I had to go over to the neighbor recently and tell them myself, please keep it down, we need to get up early in the morning. They've been extremely quiet since we've talked to the office, but what we had to go through.....

We had issues with the neighbors dog. They said since we were the only people complaining about it, they couldn't do anything. I finally had to get a anti-barking machine, press it, and it emits a noise the dog hates. After threatening to prosecute, the office pretended that the lady was concerned about her dog, and asked when it did bark, and she suggested to her to put it someplace other then the bathroom.

We also smell cigerette smoke in our apartment bathroom! One of the maintence guys ozonated our bathroom, which made us both sick for a week, and then checked the neighboring apartments for smokers. He told us, no one smokes around us, but he does smell cigerette smoke in our bathroom. Our neighbor told us the guy above her smokes. We've also smelled pot!

The floor plan is great, the apartment set up is great, except it gets warm by the windows. We are using a realitor in getting out of this apartment, because of the hassle we've been through.
